The activity of Labex MMCD is currently organized into 7 active “Structured Projects“, focused on specific topics :
- SP1: Porous and bio-based materials
- SP2: Multiscale analysis of fracture and damage
- SP3: Rheology/elaboration of complex materials (aerated or reinforced)
- SP4: Surface effects & coatings
- SP5: Geometry for structures and microstructures
- SP6: Materials for new construction methods
- SP7: Advanced experimental & numerical methodologies
These Structured Projects extend activities that have been initiated during the 2016-2019 period within three transverse projects:
- TR1: Porous, bio-sourced and sustainable materials for civil engineering
- TR2: Multi-scale analysis of microcracking in civil engineering and geo-materials
- TR3: Rheophysics of model particle-reinforced composite fluids
and 4 thematic axes:
- Multiphysics of nanostructured materials
- Micromechanics, imaging and multiscale modeling
- Rheology of complex fluids and materials
- From materials to structures: stochastic and geometric aspects
